Amanda Clardy, Designer
How did you join the Kibler & Kirch design family?
I studied interior design at The Art Institute of Chicago and when I moved to Red Lodge, I started Independent Interiors and did that for 12 years. I’d always admired Rosina and wanted to work in a team. So when the recession came, it was the perfect time to switch over and join forces with Kibler & Kirch. The opportunity to work with so many resources and so many great people is such a blessing.
If you were a piece of furniture what would you be?
Something that has many functions. Maybe a cool desk that opens up to be a dining table! Whatever it is would be hand-made, one-of-a-kind and stand out.
What do you own that you would never get rid of?
The chair from great great grandma. It has metal claw feet and reclines, very old school. I couldn’t sit in as a kid. That thing has been reupholstered so many times.
What is your favorite design style>
I’m a chameleon. I like to explore all styles so that I’m knowledgeable on whatever look our clients want.
